Updated OZEV EV Charger Grants – April 2026
From 1 April 2026, the government increased eligible OZEV grants from £350 to up to £500 per socket for many home and workplace EV charger installations.
Available grants now include:
flats and renters
residential landlords
households with on-street parking
businesses and workplaces
schools and education sites
These updated grants are available until 31 March 2027.
Some older infrastructure and commercial landlord grant schemes closed on 31 March 2026, but the updated grants now offer improved support for many customers.
