A neat, smart home charger for your Birmingham driveway
Charging at home overnight on an EV tariff is by far the cheapest way to run an electric car. We fit smart chargers on driveways, garages and car ports across Birmingham, from Victorian terraces with side access to new-build estates.
Every installation starts with a check of your supply, fuse and earthing, so your charger is safe and won't trip anything else in the house. We agree the charger position and cable route with you first, and tidy up before we leave.
We install EV chargers across the area, including:
- Sutton Coldfield
- Erdington
- Kingstanding
- Great Barr
- Handsworth Wood
- Harborne
- Edgbaston
- Moseley
- Kings Heath
- Hall Green
- Acocks Green
- Yardley
- Shard End
- Northfield
- Longbridge

EV charger installation nearby
Do you install EV chargers in Birmingham?
Yes. We install workplace, fleet, car park and home chargers across Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Kingstanding, Great Barr, Handsworth Wood, Harborne and Edgbaston. Call your local team on 0121 285 0136.
How long does a home charger installation take?
Most home chargers are installed in a single visit. If your supply needs an upgrade or a DNO notification, we'll explain what's involved before we start.
Which home charger should I choose?
It depends on your car, tariff and whether you want solar compatibility. We most often fit Ohme, Rolec, VCHRGD, Tesla and Andersen chargers, and we'll explain the differences in plain English.
Is there a grant for a home charger?
If you rent your home, or own and live in a flat, with private off-street parking, you may get up to £500 towards a home charger. Homeowners in houses aren't eligible for a grant at the moment, but a smart charger on an overnight EV tariff still keeps running costs low.
Can my business get a grant for EV chargers?
Most businesses, charities and public sector organisations in Birmingham can claim up to £500 per socket through the OZEV Workplace Charging Scheme (up to 40 sockets), and state-funded schools up to £2,000 per socket. The schemes run until 31 March 2027. We confirm eligibility and handle the installer side of the claim.
Is there a grant for a home EV charger?
Renters and flat owners with private off-street parking can get up to £500 towards a home chargepoint until 31 March 2027. If you own a house, there's no grant at the moment, but you can still save by charging overnight on an EV tariff.
Which EV chargers do you install?
All the main brands. For most sites we recommend Rolec, Ohme, VCHRGD, Tesla or Andersen. We'll explain the differences in plain English, from app features and load management to looks and price.
Will my electricity supply cope with EV chargers?
We carry out a full load assessment before quoting. Load management often lets you install more chargers without upgrading your supply. If an upgrade or DNO approval is needed, we explain the options and take care of the paperwork.
How long does an EV charger installation take?
A typical home installation is completed in one visit. For workplaces, fleets and car parks we agree a programme that fits around your operations, including evening and weekend work.
Can I charge my EV from solar panels?
Yes, and for businesses with daytime fleets or staff parking it can make a big difference to running costs. We design and install MCS-certified solar and battery systems alongside your chargers, with drone roof surveys.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form or give us a call. Calls are answered 24/7. We'll ask a few quick questions about your site and arrange a survey, then send a fixed quote with any grant shown.
